Deephold: The Last Thane

This game is a 2D side-scrolling defense strategy game where the player controls a dwarven leader defending the last surviving underground hold. During the day, the player gathers resources, builds defenses, and recruits more dwarves to strengthen the hold. At night, waves of monsters attack from tunnels on both the left and right sides. The goal is to survive long enough to expand outward, locate the enemy camps sending the monsters, and destroy them to reclaim the hold.
